Around 500 members of Hungary’s Scientology community came together to commemorate the tenth anniversary of the Church of Scientology headquarters on Váci Road.
Opened in 2016, the six-storey religious centre has become an important meeting place for the Hungarian Scientology community. The anniversary featured a religious news eugene service, live music, a photographic and video retrospective and a presentation looking toward the coming years.
During the past decade, the Budapest church has also hosted drug-prevention conferences, human-rights events, humanitarian meetings and interfaith dialogue. These activities are connected with social betterment programmes inspired by Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
